
Garrett Duffin, who graduated in May with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, won third place in the New Investigator Award at the International Society of Biomechanics in Sports 37th annual Conference.
The award was for a study titled “The optimal plyometric exercise horizontal to vertical force ratio for sprinting.” Co-investigators included exercise science student Alyssa Stockero and William Ebben, associate professor of exercise science.
This conference included research presented by scientists and scholars from 127 universities, medical organizations, sports institutes and research organizations from throughout the world.
