Lakeland University exercise science research students and recent graduates presented the following studies at the International Society of Biomechanics in Sports 37 Annual Conference, in Oxford, Ohio, on July 21-25, 2019. Eight LU exercise science students and recent graduates were authors on these papers.
- Garrett Duffin presented the study titled, "The optimal plyometric exercise horizontal to vertical force ratio for sprinting." Co-authors included Alyssa Stockero and William Ebben. Duffin also presented the study titled, "Terminal and exterior ballistic evaluation of active shooter: Countermeasures of convenience in a biomechanics classroom or laboratory." Ebben was a co-author.
- Dylan Lange presented the study titled, "Kinetic and subjective analysis of knee rollers, hands free crutch, and conventional crutches." Co-authors included Martesia Neal, Casey Takahashi, Josh Reisimer, Stockero and Ebben. Lange also presented the study titled, "Multi-planar analysis of the traditional back squat and Smith machine back squat." Co-authors included Reisimer, Stockero, Takahashi, Duffin and Ebben.
- Alyssa Stockero presented the study titled, "Gender analysis of hip abductor and adductor force ratios." Co-authors included Duffin, Reisimer, Neenah Primas, Jack Shevalier and Ebben.
