Representatives from Lakeland University and Moraine Park Technical College met today at MPTC in Fond du Lac to celebrate the schools’ new guaranteed transfer agreement.
Lakeland and MPTC have strengthened their existing partnership in a way that will benefit students for years to come.
More than 15 MPTC programs now align with nine Lakeland majors as part of the new MPTC-to-LU initiative. MPTC graduates who meet the transfer requirements are guaranteed direct admission to Lakeland to pursue a bachelor’s degree in related career areas.
The latest collaboration provides a number of additional benefits to students, including:
- Connecting MPTC students to Lakeland academic advisors
- The opportunity for students to work in their field while continuing an education at Lakeland
- Tuition discounts and scholarship opportunities for MPTC graduates
- Individualized academic plans and career development services to help students launch and advance their careers
