
Lakeland University’s exercise science program was well represented at the National Strength and Conditioning Association-Wisconsin State Clinic in Waukesha, Wis., on April 14.
LU associate professor of exercise science William Ebben presented a study titled “The role of strength and power in football striking.” Current and former exercise science students Martesia Neal, Josh Reisimer, Casey Takahashi and Dan Janeshek were co-investigators on this study.
Reisimer presented a study titled “Kinetic analysis of select body weight, light load, and heavy load resistance training exercises.” Ebben, Takahashi and Janeshek were co-investigators on this study.
Exercise science student Dylan Lange presented a study titled “The effect of weekly training volume, sport participation, and occupational labor on strength and conditioning performance.” Ebben, Marquette University High School fitness coordinator Andrew Kossow and Marquette University High School director of performance and fitness Mike Duehring were co-investigators on this study.
Former LU exercise science adjunct instructor Andrew Kossow presented a study titled “Correlation between sleep, stress and performance of high school athletes.” Ebben, Lange and Duehring were co-investigators on this study.
