
Lakeland University’s chapter of Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology, recently inducted eight new members in a ceremony in the Laun Center.
The eight new members are: Jack Banks, Brandon Herrin, Zach Mock, Brianna Sandvick, Jennifer Schwartz, Molly Schwibinger, Joe Walcott and Kendra Zipperer.
This was the third induction ceremony of the Lakeland chapter, bringing the total number of inductees to 23.
Inducted students must be psychology majors and minors. Requirements include a cumulative grade point average that is in the top 35 percent of their class compared to their classmates across the entire university. The group also selected its executive committee for next school year: President-Emilie Schartner, vice president-Mai Lor, secretary-Molly Schwibinger and treasurer-Brianna Sandvick.
