Members of Sheboygan Falls High School’s senior class spent part of Wednesday morning at Lakeland College, where they received life-skills advice and heard from five Falls graduates now studying at Lakeland.
Cindy Lindstrom, Lakeland’s associate professor of computer science, spoke to the students about online security best practices. She showed examples of how easy it is to invade people’s online privacy if they are not properly informed and protected.
Next, Brett Killion, Lakeland’s assistant professor of accounting, spoke about financial responsibility. Killion showed the guests a reasonable plan for how to become millionaires by the age of 56.
Jim Bajczyk, Lakeland’s director of residence life, talked about how to relate with a college roommate and talk through issues.
And finally, the highlight of the morning came when Sheboygan Falls visitors listened to a panel discussion featuring former Falls and current Lakeland students Karina Aguirre-Vasquez, Conner Clark, Tiffany Fischer, Amber Knutson and Emma Schad.
